Valrhona

The benchmark in fine chocolate, brought to the German and Austrian trade with the depth it deserves.

Valrhona is the benchmark for premium chocolate — a company founded in the Rhône Valley in 1922 that has defined what it means to work with cacao at the highest level. Its clientele ranges from the world's greatest pastry chefs and chocolatiers to a growing community of sophisticated consumers who understand the difference between fine chocolate and everything else.

Our mandate with Valrhona was to build this understanding in the German and Austrian markets — to translate a story deeply embedded in French culinary culture into something that resonated with German-speaking food editors, chefs, buyers and consumers.

We developed an integrated programme that operated across several registers simultaneously. On the corporate and founder side, we positioned Valrhona's leadership and master chocolatiers as voices of authority in the premium food conversation. On the sustainability front — increasingly central to Valrhona's identity as a B Corp and pioneer of traceable sourcing — we built substance-first work that reached the trade and the consumer press with real specificity.

A significant strand supported Valrhona's digital expansion: the launch of the German-language online shop, backed by a coordinated trade and editorial programme that drove both awareness and first-purchase conversion. We also managed the communications around a museum project and a major book publication — two cultural initiatives that underscored Valrhona's position not merely as a supplier but as a custodian of craft.

Trade fair support completed the picture: Valrhona's presence at key industry events in the DACH region was managed with the same precision and narrative coherence as every other element of the programme.
